| HISTORY |
 J. Burr Bartram, Jr., and Bruce R. Brakenhoff established the yacht brokerage firm of Bartram & Brakenhoff, Inc. in December of 1967, which at that time operated out of a single location in Greenwich, Connecticut until July of 1980. Between 1980 and 1985 a second office was opened in Newport, Rhode Island, which then became the corporate headquarters and the Connecticut office was closed. In 1998 David Lacz, who was working as a broker, purchased the business from Mr. Bartram and Mr. Brakenhoff with the understanding that, for a limited time, both gentlemen will continue as Yacht Brokers servicing their clientele and acting as consultants for the company. Since the new ownership, in 1999 a Ft. Lauderdale office was added in order to service one of the largest yachting communities in the world in addition to the Newport, Rhode Island facility. At the present time, Bartram & Brakenhoff has seven yacht brokers (all licensed) and four assistants working between the two office locations. |

Due to our locations, we are ideally situated to provide the highest level of service year round. |
