Eric joined Bartram &
Brakenhoff in 2011 where he
will be continuing his work
as a yacht broker serving
clients along the Eastern
Seaboard.
Eric traces his passion for
yachts and boating to his
childhood when he explored
the Hudson River with his
grandfather on a flybridge
motor yacht. Growing up on
a lake in Southern Massachusetts
and with family in Rhode Island
and Nantucket, he has spent
many summers skiing, fishing
and cruising the New England
coast.
He brings over 20 years of
experience in strategic consulting,
marketing, sales, and executive
management to B&B. As
an entrepreneur he has started
and built several successful
service companies, and also
delivered management consulting
services to Fortune 500 companies.
Eric has for the past six
years served customers in
the marine industry as a yacht
broker focusing on luxury
motor yachts and high pedigree
vintage boats and yachts.
Eric is also active supporting
charities and has helped found
the Jim Dahler Memorial Scholarship
Fund, which makes scholarship
awards to high school students
that overcome learning and
other disabilities. He enjoys
spending time with his three
sons boating, skiing, camping
and traveling.
Eric attended Northfield
Mt. Hermon School in Northfield,
MA, and graduated from Hobart
College in 1987 with an undergraduate
degree in Political Science.
In 2008 Eric founded Vintage
Yachting Club, which provides
membership-based access to
classic yachting, exclusive
events, distinctive land &
sea excursions, and brokerage
services in partnership with
Bartram & Brakenhoff.
