Tom Babbitt grew up boating on Buzzard's Bay. He started out, perhaps at too young of an age, running the family Boston Whaler around the Elizabeth Islands and Martha's Vineyard. His younger years were spent sailing on family sailboats throughout New England and the Bahamas.

   Tom started his brokerage career in New York selling powerboats. A move to Florida found him as a broker and Sales Manager for a large multi line sail and power boat dealership. Tom went on to own a yacht brokerage company on the mid-coast of Maine, become the VP/GM/SM of a large multi line yacht dealer in Rhode Island, and finally to call Bartram and Brakenhoff home.

   Tom is based out of Ft. Lauderdale and is a licensed Florida Yacht Broker, a member of the Yacht Brokers Association of America and the Florida Yacht Brokers Association.
