Tom Babbitt grew up boating on Buzzard's Bay. He started out, perhaps at too young of an age, running the family Boston Whaler around the Elizabeth Islands and Martha's Vineyard. His younger years were spent sailing on family sailboats throughout New England and the Bahamas.

   Tom started his brokerage career in New York selling powerboats. A move to Florida found him as a broker and Sales Manager for a large multi line sail and power boat dealership. Tom went on to own a yacht brokerage company on the mid-coast of Maine, become the VP/GM/SM of a large multi line yacht dealer in Rhode Island, and finally to call Bartram and Brakenhoff home.

   Tom is based out of the Goat Island Newport, RI office in the summer months and splits his time between the Ft. Lauderdale and Newport offices in the winter. Tom is a licensed Florida Yacht Broker, a member of the Yacht Brokers Association of America and the Florida Yacht Brokers Association.
