Dick Thursby enjoyed a long and successful career in marketing and sales management with a Fortune 300 company before pursuing a second career in the boating industry. He has sailed since childhood - working his way up from prams, through numerous one-designs to offshore boats - and raced and cruised extensively from Maine to the Keys. He is active in race management, serving as a race officer at regattas throughout New England, and is a long-time member of both New York Yacht Club and the Stamford

   ( CT ) Yacht Club, where he serves in various capacities. He is also a member of the Florida Yacht Brokers Association.
